It has been an action packed month during our soft launch with more online orders than we were expecting and a solid following at our Upstate New York retail spot. We could not be more grateful for all of the support that we have received from family, friends and total strangers. It is heartwarming to know that there are so many like minded people who share our values, our love of nature and our concern for the ongoing rapid mass extinction of plant and animal life.
- People like the glamorous American trailblazer Leilani Münter, a biology graduate turned race car driver and environmental activist who made a donation to our partner in Rainforest conservation, The Rainforest Trust during our launch month, to protect over 1,500 acres of endangered rainforest.
- People like those who staged a mammoth, herculean, 3 day long rescue operation to involving The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Big Life Foundation and the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), as well as members of the local community, who all fought tirelessly to free a massive adult male elephant, trapped in thick mud, stuck in a drying water pan.
- People like the founder of The Coral Restoration Foundation, Ken Nedimyer and wife Denise, who established Reef Renewal earlier this year, to guide other countries trying to rebuild their coral reefs.
