Mother Earth - Acrylic

On April 22, we celebrate Earth Day. The painting I made is to honor our mother the Earth who holds us, breathes for us, and gives us everything we need to live.

When I created this piece, I thought about her mountains like shoulders, her rivers like veins, her forests like a gentle breath. Every brushstroke is my way of saying thank you. Every color I chose the greens, the blues, the warm browns comes from her palette.

I don't paint to capture the Earth perfectly. I paint to feel close to her. To remind myself that she is not just a planet we live on, but a living presence that nurtures us like a mother nurtures her child.

This Earth Day, my painting is my prayer. My apology. My promise to protect the hands that feed me.

Honoring our mother means loving her back. This is how I begin.
